Young people today think differently, connect digitally, and value opportunities for growth and independence. For this Sunshine Coast Council project, these experiences lead the story.
Developed in consultation with young people aged 12 to 24, the Sunshine Coast Council Youth Plan 2026–2031 isn’t your typical report. It’s made to be clicked, shared, and picked up—a living, breathing plan that speaks directly to young people from the front cover onwards.
The brief was to celebrate our vibrant local community through illustration, with active input from the Young Leaders Academy along the way. Where it landed is a bright cross-section of stories, lifestyles, and a few Sunshine Coast icons for good measure. An artwork that young people can see themselves in, and a call to play a part in their community’s future.
